New biomass maps should be generated regularly every few days. If they don’t appear after that time, there might be a few reasons for that:
- The satellite image of your field was too cloudy. Clouds affect how much light is reflected to the satellite sensor and may result in false crop vitality data. To prevent that, we will not generate a new biomass map if the cloud coverage is higher than 40%. We will also mark it on the biomass maps list:
- The average biomass vitality of your field was lower than 5% (e.g., due to snow). You can read more about vitality values in this article.
- The satellite captured an incomplete image. In this case, a new map will appear the next time the satellite moves over your field.
