After the registration, you see the pop-up window that redirects you to the onboarding. It was designed in a way that makes setup quick and easy. To proceed, click the Get started button.
1. Create a farm
In the first step, fill in the Farm information:
- Farm name
- City/Town
- Country (by default, it is the one you selected during the registration)
Click Next to proceed.
2. Create a field
You can also use the Arvorum APP to create new fields. Thanks to data synchronization, all information you input using your mobile device is visible in the desktop version of Arvorum. Here, you can learn more about field creation in the Arvorum APP. |
You can select a field from the shapes displayed on the map, draw your field manually, upload KML / shape files of your fields, or import data by entering your SBI number.
Field selection is now available only for farms located in:

White shapes indicate the boundaries. Once you click the chosen field, you will see the total area in hectares.
If you want to draw the field, switch to that option - click the Draw button at the bottom of the screen. Click the map to start drawing the boundaries.
You can adjust the field shape by clicking the blue dot and moving it.
If there are any objects on the field that you would like to exclude, such as trees or ponds, use the Cut out feature. Click the scissors icon and draw the shape you want to remove from the total field area.
After creating your field, click Next.
You can add more fields to your farm after you finish the onboarding process.
3. Field information
The last step of farm & field creation is adding information about your first field.
Enter the Field name. Optionally you can add Field ID.
Next, click the Select crop bar to open the list of crops available in your region. There are several groups:
- Cereals
- Fruit
- Nuts & Trees
- Oilseeds
- Pasture / Grassland
- Pulses
- Soft Fruit
- Speciality
- Sugars
- Vegetables
To find a crop, you can scroll the list or enter the name in the search bar.
After you choose the crop type, you can add variety by entering it manually.
Next, you define the seeding date or save the crop as not seeded yet. To set up the seeding date, click on the calendar icon and choose the day by clicking on it. If the crop has not been seeded yet, tick the appropriate box.
You can also decide to show the information about the crop as the current season. To learn more about seasons, read this article.
Below the mandatory fields, you can add information about previous seasons. Doing so will give you a better record of your field performance. Select crop type, define seeding and harvest dates, and add yield amount. You can add information about previous crops after you finish the onboarding. |
Click Finish after providing all information.
Congratulations on creating your first farm and field! Now you can see your field on the fields list. After a while, you will see the current biomass map. Click on the field to access more details!
